Sherwood is a 450 acre residential neighbourhood currently under development in north Calgary. Progressive Engineering has provided the full range our consultant service, including preliminary engineering, stormwater management, detailed engineering, field services, and landscaping services for the initial 160 acres.
Engineering challenges associated with the development include detailed computer modeling during the design phase to minimize rock excavation. Extension of Shaganappi Trail across the TUC and extension of utilities through the adjacent undeveloped subdivision required extensive negotiations, agreements, co-ordination and co-operation.
