Progressive Engineering has been involved with Dundee Developments in Springside and West Springs since Phase 1 in 1998 up to Phase 16 in 2008 with each phase promoting its own challenges regarding engineering. Several phases are designed around natural Aspen forests in order to retain as much natural flora as possible. Stormwater ponds were also designed to maintain as much of the natural look as possible while still serving a functional storm ponds. The phases west of 85th Street were only possible due to innovative design of stormwater and wastewater systems. This was due to the lack of trunk mains extending to this area.
