This 400+ acre development is located on the western edge of Calgary with majestic rocky mountain views. Progressive Engineering is currently providing planning assistance and preliminary engineering with construction expecting to start in Fall 2009. The project will also require a water treatment plant and wastewater treatment facility. The preliminary design is being done with close cooperation with Progressive Engineering Landscape to minimize the ecological footprint and maximize Low Impact Design (LIDs) such as bioswales, and promoting Rain Water reuse. Progressive Engineering will also follow through with approvals from the local municipal and provincial authorities.
With construction anticipated to start in Fall 2009, Progressive Engineering will be responsible for the construction. This construction will include the water treatment plant, stormwater management facilities, underground infrastructure, roads, shallow utilities, offsite upgrades as required.
