Located on the south side of High River, it's only a 45 minute commute to downtown Calgary. Montrose is 212 acres in size, anticipated to develop into 1,260 single family and multi-family homes, of which a number will back onto green space, a storm pond, and a commercial area.
There are panorama views of the rolling prairies and the Rocky Mountains. Included in the development is a 16 acre pond and a new bridge leading into Phase 1.
Progressive continues to provide preliminary and detailed engineering, stormwater management, detailed landscape construction drawings, and site construction supervision for the first phase of Montrose, High River and has started Detailed Design on Phase 2, which is 75 acres.
The landscaping package included grading, planting, playground, and irrigation layout plans as well as details for a large plaza and arbour structure. Work also includes boulevard landscaping, entry signage, walls and fencing details.
