Eagle Ridge is a 400 acre subdivision development in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Located in the heart of the tarsands development, Fort McMurray is experiencing a boom they have never seen before and the demand for housing is challenging.
Progressive Engineering teamed with a major builder to win a proposal call from the provincial government to develop the site as quickly as possible. The Project Team responded with a fast-track approach for land use approval, engineering design, and construction.
Within one year the infrastructure for the new community of 10,000 people was 50% complete with the first six storey condominium building almost completed. In the second year all onsite infrastructure was complete and residents were taking possession.
