South Seton

Progressive Engineering is undertaking conceptual design for the development of a stormwater system which incorporates Low Impact Design (LID) initiatives with standard stormwater engineering practices. The plan incorporates existing wetlands into the stormwater system to ensure longterm viability.

LID initiatives being proposed include back of lot bioswales to replace the standard concrete swales; residential boulevard raingrades, stormpond forebays and constructed wetlands. There may also be an opportunity to extract gravels from within the subdivision thereby eliminating the need to import base gravels and significantly reducing construction costs for South Seton.
